AJAX Street

As part of an ongoing series, Startup Pittsburgh will be interviewing the founders of the current cycle of AlphaLab companies. We begin our series with AJAX Street and its cofounder, Scott Connelly.

AJAX Street is developing user-friendly, web-based software that enables organizations to preserve and extend their brand identity. Our conversion engine creates style guides from web styles, to enforce a consistent look across different media, saving our users time and money.

Below you can view a brief interview our gonzo startup reporter, Jia Ji, had with AJAX Street cofounder, Scott Connelly, about how AlphaLab fosters the emergence of new startups even in these dire economic times. Please excuse the poor video and sound quality, but as we’ve previously stated, these are dire economic times and we’re not professional videographers.

“Professionalism” is in the eye of the beholder. An audience will forgive questionable audio & video quality, as long as the content is gripping / informative / involves ample amounts of skin.

As for AlphaLab, Scott’s right — their support can be the validation that rescues a potential business idea from the scrap heap of “I’ll get to it later…”
